PNC BANK: GIFT MAKER
Every year, the PNC Christmas Price Index calculates the cost of each gift in the classic carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas". To turn the Index into a financial education tool, PNC Bank created a collection of customizable toys based on the gifts in the song. Kids could build their own versions online and find out what made their prices go up or down. Then every day for 12 days, PNC picked some of the toy designs, printed them on 3D-printers and sent them to their creators in time for the holidays.
